The Tyndall Firm, LLC is a Birmingham, Alabama, based law firm specializing in construction related matters. With over 20 years of experience, we are licensed to practice in state and federal courts in Alabama and Mississippi. We represent clients throughout the Southeast region and pride ourselves on our experience, integrity and results.
Our firm offers a multitude of legal services and support to the business community and individuals alike, with an emphasis on the construction industry. From project conception and financing, through contract drafting and negotiation process, to dispute resolution, The Tyndall Firm provides comprehensive advice and support to its clients.

L. GRIFFIN "GRIFF" TYNDALL is founder and shareholder of The Tyndall Firm, LLC, in Birmingham, Alabama. For over two decades, Mr. Tyndall has represented a wide range of construction clients, from general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to owners, design professionals, lenders and sureties. He has extensive experience in advising clients during the pre-construction process on matters such as contract and subcontract drafting and negotiation, as well as insurance and bonding issues. Mr. Tyndall also handles his clients' dispute resolution needs through litigation in both state and federal courts or through alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and arbitration. He earned his J.D. degree from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and is a former instructor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he taught a course on construction law to students seeking the Masters of Engineering degree in the University's department of Construction Engineering Management. Mr. Tyndall has been recognized by his peers as a “Top Attorney” as published by Birmingham Magazine for three consecutive years, “Best of the Bar” as published in the Birmingham Business Journal, and was included in the 2021 edition of The Best Lawyers in America. Mr. Tyndall is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts in Alabama and Mississippi.

Vanessa Tyndall

VANESSA TYNDALL is the Firm Administrator and is responsible for managing the administrative operations of the Firm including evaluating and managing the Firm’s operating and information systems; overseeing the Firm’s finance functions; assisting in the marketing of the Firm’s legal services and client development activities; and evaluating, managing and supervising the facilities of the Firm. Other responsibilities include managing the Firm's social media outlets and website, coordinating functions, sponsorships and speaking engagements, and serving as a community ambassador for the Firm. Mrs. Tyndall earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Business - Marketing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
